Protecting Grout
Grout is like a sponge....spill something like coffee or juice and you'll see what I'm talking about. Tile grout is generally cement-based, very porous and needs to be sealed. Sealing the grout protects against all stains, makes cleaning easier, and even provides mold and mildew protection which is great in shower areas.
