 | The Final Step For That Professional Look!
The final step to a great window requires the use of a "Squeegee". Squeegee's also come in a variety of sizes and are comprised of 3 components: a handle, a channel and a rubber strip.
Begin by "cutting in an edge" down the side of the window. Place the squeegee on the glass so that only an inch of rubber touches the window. This provides a dry edge to anchor the horizontal strokes that follow.
Starting at the top and using horizontal strokes, squeegee off the solution overlapping each stroke by about 1 1/2 inches. Wipe the blade between each pass with a dry lint-free cloth (such as a Micro-Fiber). Use your cloth to dry the edges of the glass when finished.
